Student booking forms may also include event date, event type, estimated set duration, desired music vibe or genre, equipment availability, and other notes needed to respond to the booking request.

The website may also collect technical and attribution data: IP-related security metadata supplied by hosting infrastructure, browser and device signals, timestamps, page URL, UTM tags, advertising click identifiers, GA client/session identifiers, and basic logs needed to secure and operate the site.

2. Why we use the data

• to contact you about a consultation, course, DJ set, student booking, or other request;
• to route the request to the SMART GATE DJ team or the relevant student DJ contact;
• to prepare answers, pricing, availability checks, course recommendations, or booking follow-up;
• to measure lead quality and advertising performance in Google Analytics 4 and related marketing reports;
• to protect forms and APIs from spam, automated submissions, and abuse;
• to maintain internal records, improve website content, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Legal basis and consent

Processing may be based on your consent, the need to respond to your request before entering into a contract, legitimate business interests in operating and securing the website, and legal obligations where applicable.

By submitting a website form, you confirm that you have reviewed this policy and agree that the submitted data may be used to process and respond to your request. If you provide data about another person, you must have permission to do so.

The original source policy states that use of the site means acceptance of the privacy policy and that questions not regulated by the policy are governed by Russian law.

4. Service providers and data sharing

Data may be shared with service providers that help operate the website and process requests. This can include Vercel for hosting and security infrastructure, Telegram for lead delivery, Resend or other email infrastructure for student booking emails, Google Analytics 4 for conversion measurement, and Cloudflare Turnstile when bot protection is enabled.

Student pages may include links to external press-kit folders, social networks, YouTube videos, WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Drive, or Yandex Disk. When you open these services, their own privacy policies and terms apply.

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only when needed for website operation, request handling, analytics, security, legal compliance, or with your consent.

5. Analytics, cookies, and attribution

The website stores advertising and UTM parameters in browser session storage so a submitted form can be attributed to the correct traffic source. If Google Analytics is configured, form submissions may be recorded as generate_lead events through GA4 Measurement Protocol and as browser dataLayer events.

Analytics and security tools may use cookies or similar identifiers depending on the visitor's browser, the active tracking setup, and third-party service configuration. You can restrict cookies or tracking in your browser settings, but some attribution and security functionality may become less precise.

6. Security

The website uses practical technical and organizational safeguards for lead forms, including minimum form-fill timing checks, optional BotID protection, optional Cloudflare Turnstile verification, request metadata logging, and restricted server-side access to delivery credentials.

No internet transmission is perfectly secure, but we aim to limit access to personal data to people and service providers who need it to handle requests, maintain the site, or protect the service.

7. Data retention

Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to process the request, follow up with the visitor, keep business records, analyze lead performance, protect against abuse, or meet legal and operational requirements.

Telegram, email, hosting, analytics, and other third-party systems may have their own retention settings and logs. Where possible, old records should be reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed.
